Sonny GordonHarold (Sonny) Gordon served as President of the Jeanne Sauvé Foundation and Chairman of the Sauvé Scholars Foundation from 2002 – 2012 . In this key leadership role, he built on his experience serving as a special assistant to the late Honorable Maurice Sauvé, husband of the late Jeanne Sauvé, when Mr. Sauvé was a Minister of the Federal Government of Canada. He remains an advisor to the Foundation.

Mr. Gordon was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dundee Corporation in November 2001.

Mr. Gordon was a managing partner of Stikeman, Elliott during his 28-year career as a practicing attorney and prior to becoming Vice Chairman of Hasbro, Inc. the toy and game company.

He has a B.Comm. and a Bachelor of Civil Law degree from McGill University, a Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia University and studied at the Graduate Division of the Wharton School of Business and Finance at the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Gordon also serves as a director of Dundee Corporation., Transcontinental Limited, Dorel Industries Limited, Pethealth Inc., Madacy Holding Inc. and SFK Pulp. He is Special Advisor to the Board of SkyPower, the leading independent renewable energy developer in Canada.
