After over five years of invaluable contributions to the Jeanne Sauvé Foundation, our Operations and Recruitment Manager Valérie Colas is leaving the organization to pursue new professional opportunities effective August 1st, 2016.

On behalf of the Jeanne Sauvé Foundation Team, Board of Directors, Network of Fellows, as well as the extended Sauvé family and community, we want to thank Valérie for her outstanding work and unwavering support throughout the years.

Valérie has been instrumental in managing the magical space that is Sauvé House as well as overseeing key Foundation processes. Since her arrival at the Foundation in 2011 as Executive Assistant to the President, she has overseen the day-to-day operations of the Foundation, from managing building logistics to coordinating various public Forum events. She was also actively involved in the planning of the Foundation’s key programs, including managing the application and selection processes of the Sauvé Scholars Program and the Jeanne Sauvé Public Leadership Program.

With her contagious laugh, constant enthusiasm and compassionate spirit, Valérie has left a mark on the Foundation’s culture and community. During her time here, she made Sauvé House more than a place of work and learning – she also made it a home-away-from-home for many Fellows and a small but dedicated team.

Valérie – and her furry companion Elliot – will be deeply missed. We wish her all the best in our future endeavours, and consider her to be forever part of the Jeanne Sauvé Foundation family.
