Tairah Firdous used her time as a Sauvé Scholar to complete her documentary film on torture victims in Kashmir. After many months of intensive editing, she screened this remarkably powerful film, Cargo: Stories from a Torture Cell, to a packed Sauvé House on 1 May, 2013. Several fellow documentarians were invited to view this screening.

She subsequently submitted Cargo to many film festivals and is pleased that the Yayori Award committee intends to screen it as part of their annual Tokyo event in December, 2013.
