The death of the casino? Most of the world's gamblers want to bet online - study

According to the British analytical company YouGov, the majority of gambling users in the world prefer online gambling rather than land-based gambling establishments.

According to the Global Gambling Report, in which YouGov polled respondents from different countries, online gambling today bypasses the popularity of land-based gambling establishments.

In Mexico, France, Spain, Denmark, Italy, Poland, India, Sweden, and Singapore took part in a survey of over 1000 users of gambling, and in the United States, Britain, Germany, and Australia - more than 2000.

63% of all respondents chose online gambling over offline gambling. The percentage of such players is particularly high in India. Many have already chosen the Casino Destinations in India.

Respondents in India support virtual gambling the most (76%), with the United Kingdom in second place (70%) and Italy in third (69%). In the United States, Sweden, and Germany the choice in favor of online gambling made 58% of respondents.

The least support for online gambling was expressed in Singapore (56%), where online betting is officially banned.

42% of survey participants also said that they buy lottery tickets online, 36% do so bet on sports events, 23% participate in online lotteries and only 13% prefer virtual slot machines or slots.

The majority of players from different countries believe that gambling operators do not take problem gambling seriously, and 16% of respondents said that the business is struggling with gambling addiction. Nearly a quarter of those surveyed favor a ban on online gambling.
